Eiermann Engineering provides Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing design services for building construction and specialty projects across Florida and beyond. Specialists in humidity control and central energy plant design since 1990.
Since 1990, Eiermann Engineering has been a trusted name in MEP consulting throughout central Florida and beyond. Founded by a team with roots in industrial design dating back to 1970, the firm has grown into a respected provider of engineering services for diverse building types and markets.
Kenn Eiermann started the firm in 1990. Shortly after, long-time friend and business associate Tom Jaeger joined. Together they built the company into a respected provider of MEP design for building construction and special design projects.
Tom and Kenn shared a similar career path — working together since 1970 on industrial design projects in Cleveland, Ohio, and later at an Architectural/Engineering firm in Orlando specializing in high-tech facility design. Tom has since retired.
Two of Kenn's sons brought the firm into the next chapter:
John Eiermann joined in 2001, bringing hands-on Mechanical Contracting experience gained in the field before entering the engineering side of the business.
Eric Eiermann joined in 2005 with practical Electrical Contracting experience, rounding out the family firm's real-world perspective on design and construction.
Eiermann Engineering combines decades of engineering design experience with hands-on knowledge of the mechanical and electrical contracting trades — a combination that produces practical, constructable designs.
Kenn founded Eiermann Engineering in 1990 after a career spanning industrial design in Cleveland and high-technology facility design in Orlando. He brings over 50 years of engineering experience to every project.

We provide engineering design services for traditional design/bid/build projects as part of typical A/E teams, and also serve as the engineering partner on design/build teams.
HVAC system design, air distribution, humidity control, chilled water plants, ventilation, and energy recovery systems tailored for Florida's demanding climate.
Power distribution, lighting design, emergency systems, fire alarm coordination, and electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and specialized facilities.
Domestic water systems, sanitary drainage, medical gas, grease interceptors, and specialty plumbing for all building types and occupancies.
Extensive application experience in Central Energy Plant design — new facilities and renovations to existing plants, including chiller replacements and cooling tower upgrades.
Specialists in humidity control applications, including advanced methods that use recovered heat for dehumidification. Expert practitioners of the TRICOIL run-around coil system.
Flexible project delivery — we work as part of traditional A/E teams or as the engineering partner embedded within design/build construction teams.
Florida's climate demands more than standard HVAC design. Our deep expertise in humidity control and heat recovery systems means we design for real-world performance — not just code minimums.
Run-around coil (TRICOIL) systems for energy-efficient dehumidification
Heat recovery strategies that reduce mechanical cooling loads
Indoor air quality solutions for humid, high-occupancy environments
Energy code compliance for 100% outdoor air systems
Eiermann Engineering is a leading practitioner of the patented TRICOIL run-around coil system — a proven, energy-code-compliant method for humidity control that uses recovered energy for reheat at zero additional cost.
